1 A HOUSE RESOLUTION recognizing Frankfort police
2 officers for their heroic actions.
3 Whereas, In the early morning of April 3, 2023, Officer
4 Madison Douglass, Officer Freddy Martinez, and Sergeant
5 Andrew Snyder of the Frankfort Police Department rescued the
6 Neal family and others from a house fire;
7 Whereas, The officers involved were able to respond to the
8 family's 911 call for help within one minute;
9 Whereas, The officers involved never hesitated to put
10 themselves in a dangerous situation to save those they were
11 sworn to protect and serve;
12 Whereas, The officers involved demonstrated their
13 commitment to ensuring the safety of members of the Frankfort

1 community; and
2 Whereas, The officers involved showed great bravery,
3 courage, and fortitude in their actions: Therefore,
4 Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the
5 General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
6 SECTION 1. That the Indiana House of Representatives
7 recognizes Officer Madison Douglass, Officer Freddy Martinez,
8 and Sergeant Andrew Snyder of the Frankfort Police
9 Department for their heroic actions.
10 SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the House of
11 Representatives shall transmit copies of this resolution to State
12 Representative Mark J. Genda for distribution.
