SENATE BILL No. 293 A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning criminal law and procedure. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana: 1 SECTION 1. IC 35-31.5-2-12, AS ADDED BY P.L.114-2012, 2 SECTION 67, IS AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE 3 JULY 1, 2024]: Sec. 12. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b), 4 "agent" means an operator, a manager, an adult employee, or a security 5 agent employed by a store.
