| 18 | 18 | | 5 (IU Health Morgan) was first established as Morgan County |

| 19 | 19 | | 6 Memorial Hospital to serve the people of Morgan County by |

| 20 | 20 | | 7 local factory manager J.W. Hussey in memory of his son, Jack; |

| 21 | 21 | | 8 Whereas, Today, IU Health Morgan provides a multitude |

| 22 | 22 | | 9 of programs and treatments to Morgan County and its |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | 10 surrounding communities, including cancer treatment, wellness |

| 24 | 24 | | 11 and rehabilitation programs, emergency and primary care, as |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | 12 well as surgery, radiology, laboratory, and pharmacy services; |

| 26 | 26 | | 13 Whereas, IU Health Morgan is committed to serving the |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | 14 community beyond rendering medical care, as shown by its |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | 15 partnerships with local nonprofit and community organizations, |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | 16 including Stability First, the YMCA of Morgan County, and the |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 17 local veterans' association, as well as by its annual day of |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 18 service, where staff volunteer their time to aid neighborhood |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 19 causes, such as cleaning parks or assisting at schools; |

| 33 | 33 | | 20 Whereas, In 2018 and 2022, the American Nurses |

| 34 | 34 | | 21 Credentialing Center recognized IU Health Morgan's culture |

| 35 | 35 | | 22 of sustained excellence by bestowing upon it the Pathway to |

| 36 | 36 | | 23 Excellence designation; and |

| 37 | 37 | | 24 Whereas, IU Health Morgan celebrates 100 years of |
