SENATE RESOLUTION ____
MADAM PRESIDENT:
I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:
1 A SENATE RESOLUTION recognizing and honoring the
2 2024 Senate Democratic Caucus interns for their service during
3 the Second Regular Session of the One Hundred Twenty-Third
4 Indiana General Assembly.
5 Whereas, The following have served as interns for the
6 Senate Democratic Caucus of the Indiana State Senate during
7 the Second Regular Session of the One Hundred Twenty-Third
8 Indiana General Assembly: Cady Armstrong, Tim Dwyer,
9 Andrea Fisher, Lucas Foley, Quinlan Huntzinger, Cate Jensen,
10 Talha Kahf, Jacob Knoop, MaCenzie Petty, Alan Pieper,
11 Chandni Rehal, Grace Rightley, Nichole Sanderock, and Grant
12 Story;
13 Whereas, The interns of the Senate Democratic Caucus
14 represent four universities and colleges: Indiana University,
15 Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, Purdue
16 University, and St. Mary's College;
17 Whereas, The conscientious and diligent efforts of this
18 intern class enabled a more effective and efficient State Senate
19 this legislative session;

1 Whereas, The interns' dedication and hard work enabled
2 the Senators of the Democratic Caucus to better represent and
3 serve their constituents in a prompt and respectful manner; and
4 Whereas, The work of the Democratic interns is integral to
5 the success of the Indiana General Assembly: Therefore,
6 Be it resolved by the Senate of the
7 General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
8 SECTION 1. That the Indiana Senate expresses its deep
9 appreciation to the Senate Democratic Caucus interns.
10 SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed
11 to transmit copies of this Resolution to the Senate Democratic
12 Caucus interns.
