I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:
1 A SENATE RESOLUTION urging the Legislative Council
2 to assign to an appropriate study committee the topic of the

7 Whereas, In 2020, the Indiana General Assembly passed
8 House Enrolled Act (HEA) 1120 concerning the award of credit
9 time to persons in DOC for progress in meeting the goals of
10 individualized case management plans to provide incentives for
11 those persons to engage in programming to reduce rates of
12 recidivism;
13 Whereas, HEA 1120 required DOC to submit a report to
14 the Legislative Council before May 1, 2023, concerning results
15 of the implementation of the CPCT Program during 2022;
16 Whereas, In 2022, over 18,000 individuals incarcerated

2024	RR 3528/DI SM 2
1 Whereas, Although a significant percentage of incarcerated
