|---|
| 15 | 15 | | 3 Whereas, Career and Technical Education ("CTE") offers |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 4 Hoosier students the opportunity to gain the academic, |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | 5 technical, and employment skills necessary for true career |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | 6 readiness through authentic, meaningful experiences that |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | 7 improve the quality of education and increase engagement and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | 8 achievement; |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | 9 Whereas, By offering integrated programs of study that link |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | 10 secondary and post-secondary education and lead to the |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | 11 attainment of industry-recognized credentials, CTE prepares |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | 12 students for fulfilling careers in their chosen fields; |
