SENATE RESOLUTION ____
MADAM PRESIDENT:
I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:
1 A SENATE RESOLUTION honoring 2023 Indiana High
2 School Athletic Association boys cross country champion
3 Cameron Todd.
4 Whereas, Cameron Todd, a senior at Brebeuf Jesuit
5 Preparatory School in Indianapolis, Indiana, is a stellar
6 student-athlete;
7 Whereas, Cameron has earned a 4.21 cumulative GPA,
8 placed on the Honor Roll every semester, and has taken six
9 Advanced Placement courses, including U.S. History, English
10 Language and Composition, Environmental Science,
11 Psychology, English Literature, Macroeconomics, and U.S.
12 Government and Politics;
13 Whereas, While Cameron is interested in STEM-focused
14 programs in college, he maintains a love for the Spanish
15 language and has tackled a fourth year honors-level Spanish
16 course;
17 Whereas, Cameron has shown his willingness to help
18 others through service, as he dedicates his time to St. Vincent
19 de Paul food pantry and Special Olympics, among other

1 organizations and clubs;
2 Whereas, Cameron's passion for cross country racing is
3 made most apparent by his accolades, including being Brebeuf
4 Jesuit's first Boys IHSAA Cross Country State Champion, All-
5 State Cross Country all four years, Champion at the Nike
6 Twilight Championship and IHSAA Sectional Championships,
7 and achieving first and second place at the Team High School
8 All American National Championships and the Nike Cross
9 Regional Championships respectively;
10 Whereas, In addition to being the winner of the 2023
11 Indiana High School Athletic Association boys cross country
12 state championship, Cameron Todd is also a Notre Dame
13 recruit and looks to further his education in Business; and
14 Whereas, Cameron Todd is an exemplary student and
15 athlete, and is a shining example of Indiana youth's dedication
16 to excellence: Therefore,
17 Be it resolved by the Senate of the
18 General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
19 SECTION 1. That the Indiana Senate recognizes and honors
20 Cameron Todd and his achievements as a student-athlete.
21 SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed
22 to transmit copies of this resolution to the family of Cameron
23 Todd.
