HOUSE BILL No. 1139
A BILL FOR AN ACT concerning health and to make an
appropriation.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
SECTION 1. [EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2025] (a) As used in this1
2 SECTION, "produce Rx pilot grant program" refers to the
3 produce Rx pilot grant program administered by the Indiana
4 department of health division of nutrition and physical activity.
5 (b) There is appropriated from the state general fund to the
6 Indiana department of health two million dollars ($2,000,000) for
7 the purpose of expanding the produce Rx pilot grant program for
8 the state biennium beginning July 1, 2025, and ending June 30,
9 2027.
10 (c) This SECTION expires July 1, 2027.
