Synopsis: Maintenance of U.S. 41 right-of-way. Appropriates
$500,000 from the state general fund to the Indiana department of
transportation (department) to be used by the department for the
purpose of providing roadside mowing on U.S. 41 from the
Vanderburgh County - Gibson County line to the Knox County -
Sullivan County line.
Effective: July 1, 2025.

A BILL FOR AN ACT concerning transportation and to make an
appropriation.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
1 SECTION 1. [EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2025] (a) There is
2 appropriated from the state general fund to the Indiana
3 department of transportation five hundred thousand dollars
4 ($500,000) for the biennium beginning July 1, 2025, and ending
5 June 30, 2027, for the purpose of providing roadside mowing on
6 U.S. 41 from the Vanderburgh County - Gibson County line to the
7 Knox County - Sullivan County line.
8 (b) This SECTION expires June 30, 2027.
