27	27	A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning state
28	28	and local administration.
29	29	Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
30	30	1 SECTION 1. IC 5-20-1-18, AS AMENDED BY P.L.189-2018,
31	31	2 SECTION 41, IS AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE
32	32	3 JULY 1, 2025]: Sec. 18. (a) The authority shall, promptly following the
33	33	4 close of each fiscal year, submit an annual report of its activities for the
34	34	5 preceding year to the public finance director appointed under
35	35	6 IC 5-1.2-3-6, the budget committee, and the general assembly. An
36	36	7 annual report submitted under this section to the general assembly must
37	37	8 be in an electronic format under IC 5-14-6. The report shall set forth a
38	38	9 complete operating and financial statement of the authority during such
39	39	10 year, and a copy of such report shall be available to inspection by the
40	40	11 public at the Indianapolis office of the authority. The authority shall
41	41	12 cause an audit of its books and accounts to be made at least once in
42	42	13 each year by an independent certified public accountant and the cost
43	43	14 thereof may be paid from any available money of the authority.
44	44	15 (b) The report submitted under subsection (a) must contain the
45	45	16 following information about the operations of the authority's
46	46	17 programs to promote housing stability for the state fiscal year

48	48	1 ending June 30, 2025, and for each state fiscal year thereafter:
49	49	2 (1) The number of applicants that sought to participate in
50	50	3 each program.
51	51	4 (2) The average wait time for receiving services under each
52	52	5 program.
53	53	6 (3) The average amount of monetary benefits provided to the
54	54	7 participants in each program.
55	55	8 (4) Identified barriers to providing expedited services under
56	56	9 each program.
57	57	10 (5) The amount of additional appropriations necessary to fully
58	58	11 meet the demand for services under each program.
