RESOLUTION No. _____
1 A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION celebrating the 100th
2 anniversary of the Owen County Chamber of Commerce.
3 Whereas, On June 25, 1925, the Owen County Chamber of
4 Commerce was founded;
5 Whereas, Through the decades, the Owen County Chamber
6 has consistently expanded and now proudly consists of over 270
7 members focused on ensuring a prosperous future for the
8 county;
9 Whereas, Generations of business owners, community
10 leaders, and volunteers have worked tirelessly to build a strong
11 foundation for economic growth and opportunity in Owen
12 County through various Chamber initiatives, from business
13 mentoring and networking opportunities to workforce
14 development and community programs;
15 Whereas, The Owen County Chamber boasts a vision
16 dedicated to improving the economic well-being of the citizens
17 of the county and improving and preserving the quality of life
18 in the area; and
19 Whereas, On June 25, 2025, the Owen County Chamber of
20 Commerce will proudly celebrate 100 years of dedication to the
21 community, supporting local businesses, fostering
22 entrepreneurship, and promoting economic growth: Therefore,
23 Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly
24 of the State of Indiana, the House of Representatives

1 concurring:
2 SECTION 1. That the Indiana General Assembly celebrates
3 the 100th anniversary of the Owen County Chamber of
4 Commerce.
5 SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is directed to
6 transmit copies of this Resolution to the Owen County Chamber
7 of Commerce.
