1313 1 A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION honoring the Indiana
1414 2 Mental Health Roundtable.
1515 3 Whereas, Under the founding leadership of Indiana's 52nd
1616 4 Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch and Eli Lilly Chairman
1717 5 Emeritus John Lechleiter, the Indiana Mental Health
1818 6 Roundtable (IMHR) was created in 2021;
1919 7 Whereas, The IMHR, in working through the Sagamore
2020 8 Institute, enhances Indiana's mental health ecosystem through
2121 9 advocacy and innovation, working to align, amplify, and scale
2222 10 well-being efforts statewide;
2323 11 Whereas, Led by the IMHR, Indiana has made meaningful
2424 12 progress in expanding access to mental health care through
2525 13 collaboration among public, private, and philanthropic
2626 14 partners;
2727 15 Whereas, After establishing the IMHR, Indiana has risen
2828 16 from ranking 42nd in the nation in 2022 for comprehensive
2929 17 mental health to 24th in the nation in 2024 per Mental Health
3030 18 America;
3131 19 Whereas, Mental health challenges continue to impact
3232 20 Hoosier communities, carrying significant economic, fiscal,
3333 21 societal, and spiritual consequences; and
3434 22 Whereas, Continued coordination among public, private,
3535 23 and philanthropic efforts, through groups like the IMHR, is
3636 24 essential to further improving the mental health and well-being

3838 1 of Hoosiers and their communities: Therefore,
3939 2 Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly
4040 3 of the State of Indiana, the House of Representatives
4141 4 concurring:
4242 5 SECTION 1. That the Indiana General Assembly
4343 6 recognizes the Indiana Mental Health Roundtable and
4444 7 Sagamore Institute as key contributors to advancing mental
4545 8 health in Indiana and commends them on their efforts to
4646 9 promote mental health and well-being for all Hoosiers.
4747 10 SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is directed to
4848 11 transmit copies of this Resolution to Anne Hazlett.
