| 13 | 13 | | 1 A SENATE RESOLUTION to honor Jeff Stant upon his |

| 14 | 14 | | 2 retirement from the Indiana Forest Alliance. |

| 15 | 15 | | 3 Whereas, Jeff Stant faithfully served as the Executive |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 4 Director of the Indiana Forest Alliance in Bloomington since |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | 5 2013; |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | 6 Whereas, Jeff Stant received a dual degree in Biology and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | 7 Environmental Science from Indiana University; |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | 8 Whereas, Jeff Stant's passion allowed him to push for |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | 9 federal environmental regulations in Washington, D.C.; |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | 10 Whereas, Jeff Stant's leadership and advocacy led to the |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | 11 drafting of the Benjamin Harrison National Recreation Area |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | 12 and Wilderness Establishment Act; |

| 25 | 25 | | 13 Whereas, Jeff Stant led the Hoosier Environmental Council |

| 26 | 26 | | 14 to fight for better water quality standards for Hoosiers; and |

| 27 | 27 | | 15 Whereas, Jeff Stant has been a champion of conservation, |

| 28 | 28 | | 16 preservation, and recreation for Hoosiers: Therefore, |
