SENATE RESOLUTION ____
MR. PRESIDENT:
I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:
1 A SENATE RESOLUTION recognizing Tru Colors Indy
2 for its dedication in creating leadership opportunities for youth.
3 Whereas, Tru Colors Indy is an organization that provides
4 a platform for Indianapolis youth to speak about the challenges
5 they face through Tru Dialogue;
6 Whereas, Tru Dialogue is a panel moderated by youth,
7 highlighting the impact of violence in Indianapolis, social
8 injustice, and mental health issues;
9 Whereas, Panelists speak to peers, legislators, directors,
10 and stakeholders to foster better relationships with one
11 another;
12 Whereas, Panelists advocate for the improvement,
13 reconstruction, and advancement of youth-centered programs
14 that impact marginalized communities; and
15 Whereas, Tru Colors Indy has a commitment to
16 empowering youth through Tru Dialogue: Therefore,

1 Be it resolved by the Senate of the
2 General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

4 SECTION 1. The Indiana State Senate recognizes Tru
5 Colors Indy for its dedication to youth.
6 SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed
7 to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Tru Colors Indy.
