| 12 | 12 | | I offer the following resolution and move its adoption: |

| 13 | 13 | | 1 A SENATE RESOLUTION to honor Jeff Baldwin upon his |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 2 retirement from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington. |

| 15 | 15 | | 3 Whereas, Jeff Baldwin has served as the Executive Director |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 4 of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington since 2006; |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | 5 Whereas, During his 18 years of leadership, the Club has |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | 6 grown from having two locations and serving 180 youth to now |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | 7 having four locations and serving over 700 kids per day; |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | 8 Whereas, During the Covid crisis, the Boys & Girls Clubs |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | 9 of Bloomington served their youth within one month of the |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | 10 national shutdown, meeting the needs of families in the health |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | 11 industry and first responders; |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | 12 Whereas, Jeff spearheaded the expansion projects that fully |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | 13 renovated the Lincoln Street Club, constructed the Ferguson |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | 14 Crestmont Club and the Kenworthy Administration Center and |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | 15 more recently opened a new Boys & Girls Club in Owen |

| 28 | 28 | | 16 County; |

| 29 | 29 | | 17 Whereas, Jeff's passion for his community is respected by |

| 30 | 30 | | 18 all those who know him and the positive impact he has had on |

| 33 | 33 | | 2 Whereas, Jeff has been an example of humble leadership |
