SENATE RESOLUTION ____
MR. PRESIDENT:
I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:
1 A SENATE RESOLUTION honoring the 2025 Senate
2 Majority Caucus interns and thanking them for their faithful
3 service to the Indiana General Assembly.
4 Whereas, Throughout the First Regular Session of the One
5 Hundred Twenty-Fourth Indiana General Assembly, the Senate
6 Majority Caucus interns have provided the Senators of the
7 Republican Caucus, individually and collectively, with
8 outstanding assistance and support;
9 Whereas, Those serving so ably this session include Amiah
10 Alexanderson, Ilene Alpha, Ali Barber, Tate Blackwell, Samuel
11 Brumley, Liam Callan, Ella Chalecki, Madelynn Coy, Brooke
12 Ellenberger, Maya Fawaz, Benjamin Gale, Andy Gibson,
13 Kishan Gorur, McKayla Guajardo, Deion Guise, Colin Harris,
14 Katelyn Hickman, Carson Kitchen, Zachary Kremer, Pia Lopez,
15 Carson Lydon, Kyle Mattern, Emily Mertz, Daniella Neise,
16 Alexander Niehaus, Angel Ortiz, Kylie Reynolds, Ryan
17 Riddlesperger, Elijah Roberson, Jovi Taylor, Emery Todd, Sam
18 Vargo, Caden Wildey, and Lucas Wolf;
19 Whereas, The Senate Majority Caucus interns represent

1 fourteen colleges and universities, including Ball State
2 University, DePauw University, Franklin College, Huntington
3 University, Indiana State University, Indiana University,
4 Indiana University Indianapolis, Marian University, Purdue
5 University, Purdue University Northwest, Taylor University,
6 University of Cincinnati, University of Evansville, and
7 University of St. Francis;
8 Whereas, The exemplary efforts of the Senate Majority
9 Caucus interns have contributed to the Senate's ability to be
10 more efficient and responsive to the citizens of the State of
11 Indiana; and
12 Whereas, It is fitting that the Senate Majority Caucus
13 interns are recognized for their hard work, time devoted, and
14 talents shared with the Indiana General Assembly: Therefore,
15 Be it resolved by the Senate of the
16 General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
17 SECTION 1. That the Indiana Senate honors and expresses
18 its full appreciation and sincere commendation to the 2025
19 Senate Majority Caucus interns.
20 SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed
21 to transmit copies of this Resolution to Emma Balzer, Senate
22 Majority Intern Director, and each Senate Majority Caucus
23 intern who served during the First Regular Session of the One
24 Hundred Twenty-Fourth General Assembly.
