5 | 5 | | Kansas: Except as otherwise hereinafter provided, the rules of the |

6 | 6 | | House of Representatives for the 2021-2022 biennium in effect at the |

7 | 7 | | time of adjournment sine die of the 2022 regular session of the |
---|
8 | 8 | | legislature shall constitute the temporary rules of the House of |
---|
9 | 9 | | Representatives for the 2023 regular session until permanent rules are |
---|
10 | 10 | | adopted. |

11 | 11 | | Be it further resolved: That Rule 1101 of the 2021-2022 biennium |

12 | 12 | | shall be amended to read as follows and shall constitute a temporary |

144 | 144 | | committees. The Speaker may remove or replace any such chairperson, |
---|
145 | 145 | | vice chairperson or member at any time. |

146 | 146 | | (c) Budget committees shall be advisory to and make |
---|
147 | 147 | | recommendations to the committee on appropriations regarding matters |
---|
148 | 148 | | referred to the budget committee by the committee on appropriations. A |
---|
149 | 149 | | budget committee is authorized to introduce bills or resolutions within |
---|
150 | 150 | | the subject matter of the budget committee. Except as otherwise |
---|
151 | 151 | | provided in this rule, budget committees shall be deemed to be standing |
---|
152 | 152 | | committees under the rules of the House of Representatives. Budget |
---|
153 | 153 | | committee meetings are subject to the Kansas open meetings act, |
---|
154 | 154 | | K.S.A. 75-4317a et seq., and amendments thereto. |
