17	17	AN ACT concerning roads and highways; designating a portion of K-5
18	18	highway as the Representative Marvin S Robinson II memorial
19	19	highway; redesignating a current portion of the Harry Darby memorial
20	20	highway for interstate highway 635; amending K.S.A. 68-1037 and
21	21	repealing the existing section.
22	22	Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
23	23	New Section 1. The portion of K-5 highway from the junction of K-5
24	24	highway and north 18

26	26	street in Wyandotte county, then west on K-5
27	27	highway to the junction of north 38

29	29	street is hereby designated as the
30	30	Representative Marvin S Robinson II memorial highway. Upon
31	31	compliance with K.S.A. 68-10,114, and amendments thereto, the secretary
32	32	of transportation shall place highway signs along the highway right-of-way
33	33	at proper intervals to indicate that the highway is the Representative
34	34	Marvin S Robinson II memorial highway.
35	35	Sec. 2. K.S.A. 68-1037 is hereby amended to read as follows: 68-
36	36	1037. Interstate highway 635 where it enters the state on the Kansas-
37	37	Missouri line on the north, thence south to the eastern junction with K-5
38	38	highway, thence south from the western junction with K-5 highway to the
39	39	junction with Interstate highway 35, is hereby designated as the Harry
40	40	Darby memorial highway. The secretary of transportation shall place
41	41	markers along the highway right-of-way at proper intervals to indicate that
42	42	the highway is the Harry Darby memorial highway. The secretary of
43	43	transportation may accept and administer gifts and donations to aid in
44	44	obtaining and installing suitable highway signs bearing the proper
