| 10 | 10 | | Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas: |

| 12 | 12 | | STATE HISTORICAL SOCIETY |

| 13 | 13 | | (a) There is appropriated for the above agency from the state general |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, the following: |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Quindaro ruins archaeological park project....................................$600,000 |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Provided, That expenditures in an amount of not less than $250,000 shall |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | be made by the above agency from such account to issue a scope |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | statement, plan the work to be accomplished and issue a request for |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | proposals for a master plan for the Quindaro ruins archaeological park in |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Wyandotte county, Kansas: Provided further, That all moneys remaining in |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | such account shall be used to implement such master plan phase one |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | renovations for the Quindaro ruins archaeological park: And provided |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | further, That it is the intent of the legislature to provide additional funds |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | for the Quindaro ruins archaeological park in future fiscal years based on |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | such master plan. |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | Sec. 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | publication in the statute book. |
