FISCAL EXPLANATION : HB 375 will minimally increase expenditures for the LRC beginning in the 2024 Regular Session of the General Assembly. The language of HB 375 mirrors existing statute in regards to fiscal impact statements and is anticipated to follow the same procedure as what is currently utilized for the creation of local mandates. The creation of a new school fiscal impact statement will require LRC to hire one additional session staff position.
