AN ACT relating to school food programs. 1
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: 2
ď˘SECTION 1. A NEW SECTION OF KRS CHAPTER 158 IS CREATED TO 3
READ AS FOLLOWS: 4
Effective with the 2022-2023 school year and thereafter, for students enrolled in public 5
schools participating in the federal School Breakfast Program and National School 6
Lunch Program, any cost which is not reimbursed by federal funds for those program 7
meals shall be paid by the Kentucky Department of Education. 8
