AN ACT relating to statues and making an appropriation therefor. 1
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: 2
Section 1. The Department for Facilities and Support Services shall place a 3
statue of United States Navy diver and Kentucky native Carl Brashear in the Capitol 4
Rotunda. 5
Section 2. General Fund moneys in the amount of $500,000 in fiscal year 2022-6
2023 are hereby appropriated to the Department for Facilities and Support Services 7
budget unit under the Finance and Administration Cabinet for purposes detailed in 8
Section 1 of this Act. 9
