A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION establishing the Early Childhood Education 1
Task Force. 2
WHEREAS, high-quality early childhood education is something that all parents in 3
the Commonwealth desire for their children; and 4
WHEREAS, caring for and creating educational opportunities for young children is 5
critical in order for them to get the best start in life; and 6
WHEREAS, the Covid-19 pandemic demonstrated how having adequate child care 7
is crucial to the successful operation of Kentucky's economy; and 8
WHEREAS, the current model of early childhood education in Kentucky does not 9
