A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Sherrill Brakmeier Zimmerman to 1
the University of Louisville Board of Trustees. 2
WHEREAS, on April 9, 2021, in accordance with KRS 164.821 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2021-224, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Sherrill Brakmeier 4
Zimmerman to the University of Louisville Board of Trustees to replace Randall Bufford 5
for a term expiring January 13, 2027; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Sherrill Brakmeier Zimmerman has been determined to meet the 8
requirements of KRS 164.821; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Sherrill Brakmeier 13
Zimmerman to the University of Louisville Board of Trustees. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Sherrill Brakmeier Zimmerman, 3607 River Ridge Cove, 16
Prospect, Kentucky 40059 and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, 17
Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 18
