UNOFFICIAL COPY 22 RS BR 2367 Page 1 of 1 XXXX Jacketed A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor and loving memory of Mike 1 Parsley. 2 WHEREAS, Mike Parsley was born on April 13, 1969, in Williamson, West 3 Virginia, to Raymond and Elizabeth Cassell Parsley, and was a resident of Louisa, 4 Kentucky; and 5 WHEREAS, Mike Parsley was a dedicated employee of Marathon Petroleum. He 6 worked as a Senior Training Specialist, and courageously served as a firefighter on the 7 Catlettsburg Refinery Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad; and 8 WHEREAS, Mike Parsley was a cherished son, brother, husband, and father, who 9 loved spending time with his family and friends, especially at the lake; and 10 WHEREAS, Mike Parsley departed this earthly life at the young age of 52 on 11 November 5, 2021; and 12 WHEREAS, Mike Parsley is survived by his father and mother, Raymond and 13 Elizabeth "Libby" Cassell Parsley; his loving wife, Jodi Webb Parsley; his son, Luke 14 Michael Parsley; his daughter, Elle Addison Parsley; his brother, Steve Parsley; his half-15 brother, Bryan (Mitzi) Maynard; his father and mother-in-law, Prentice Jackson Webb 16 and Melody Webb; two sisters-in-law, Jaime (David) Stalvey and Jackie (Don) 17 Hildebrand; and two brothers-in-law, Jeremy (Jessica) Webb and Josh (Krista) Webb; 18 NOW, THEREFORE, 19 Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 20 Kentucky: 21 Section 1. The Senate hereby expresses its most profound and heartfelt 22 sympathy upon the passing of Mike Parsley. 23 Section 2. When the Senate adjourns today, it does so in honor and loving 24 memory of Mike Parsley. 25 Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of this 26 Resolution to Jodi Leah Parsley at 190 Bobwhite Road, Louisa, Kentucky 41230. 27
