UNOFFICIAL COPY 22 RS BR 2366 Page 1 of 2 XXXX Jacketed A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor and loving memory of Patricia 1 Lou Wright McPeek. 2 WHEREAS, Patricia Lou Wright McPeek was born on May 8, 1939, to the late 3 Melvin and Lexie Wright; and 4 WHEREAS, Patricia McPeek was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, aunt, 5 grandmother, and community member who gave selflessly to so many. To know her was 6 to love her; and 7 WHEREAS, Patricia McPeek touched and mentored thousands of students, as well 8 as fellow educators, during her 36 years of teaching at Dorton Elementary School. She 9 also served several years as cheerleading sponsor; and 10 WHEREAS, Patricia McPeek departed this earthly life on Thursday, November 18, 11 2021; and 12 WHEREAS, in addition to her parents, Patricia McPeek was preceded in death by 13 her sister, Mona Gaye Adkins; and her brother, Gerald Blaine Wright; and 14 WHEREAS, Patricia McPeek is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jerry Keith 15 McPeek, Sr.; her sons, Jerry Keith (Kim) McPeek, Jr. and Eric S. (Heather) McPeek; her 16 grandchildren, Kolby Keith (Skyler) McPeek and Kerrigan McPeek; her great-17 granddaughters, Audrey, Scarlett, and Elizabeth McPeek; her brother, Ronnie (Linda 18 Gail) Wright; her sister, Greta (Thadeus) Bowling; and a host of nieces and nephews 19 whom she loved; 20 NOW, THEREFORE, 21 Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 22 Kentucky: 23 Section 1. The Senate expresses its most profound sympathy upon the passing 24 of Patricia Lou Wright McPeek. 25 Section 2.
