A RESOLUTION recognizing the Bluegrass Community Bankers Association. 1
WHEREAS, the mission of the Bluegrass Community Bankers Association 2
(BCBA) is to create and promote an environment in Kentucky where community banks 3
flourish; and 4
WHEREAS, the Bluegrass Community Bankers Association plans and conducts 5
social and business events to provide its members with opportunities to benefit from the 6
knowledge and experiences of other members and key individuals in banking; and 7
WHEREAS, the Bluegrass Community Bankers Association makes available 8
quality products and services that its members may utilize at reduced prices through 9
group purchasing procedures; and 10
WHEREAS, the Bluegrass Community Bankers Association protects the Kentucky 11
community banking industry through legislative efforts at the state level, coordination 12
with the Independent Community Bankers Association at the national level, and through 13
espousing its members' views concerning issues and situations that may have an impact 14
on community banks in Kentucky; 15
NOW, THEREFORE, 16
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 17
Kentucky: 18
Section 1. The members of the Senate hereby recognize the Bluegrass 19
Community Bankers Association and welcome those members of the BCBA who are 20
visiting the Capitol on this day. 21
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of this 22
Resolution to Senator Jared Carpenter. 23
