A RESOLUTION honoring Dr. Jonathan W. Rich. 1
WHEREAS, Jonathan W. Rich, Doctor of Dental Medicine, is a leader in the field 2
of dentistry in Kentucky; and 3
WHEREAS, Dr. Jonathan Rich currently serves as president of the Kentucky Dental 4
Association; and 5
WHEREAS, Dr. Jonathan Rich practices general dentistry in his hometown of Dry 6
Ridge, Kentucky, in a family practice which has an esteemed history of serving the Grant 7
County community since 1926; and 8
WHEREAS, Dr. Jonathan Rich graduated from Williamstown High School, 9
attended Georgetown College, where he received a bachelor's of science degree in 1999, 10
and completed his doctorate in dental medicine from the University of Louisville School 11
of Dentistry in 2004; and 12
WHEREAS, in addition to his private practice, Dr. Jonathan Rich serves as 13
president of his local dental society and has served on the executive council of the state 14
association, culminating in his recent promotion to president; and 15
WHEREAS, Dr. Jonathan Rich has served on the Council on Membership for the 16
American Dental Association and is a speaker for the ADA Success program, which 17
offers guidance and support for dental students; and 18
WHEREAS, Dr. Jonathan Rich is a certified dental consultant and accredited 19
healthcare fraud investigator working with private and governmental insurance plans; and 20
WHEREAS, this body rightfully celebrates Kentucky professionals who go above 21
and beyond their duties to improve the quality of their profession, improve the health and 22
lives of their fellow citizens, and make their communities better places to live, work, and 23
raise a family; and 24
WHEREAS, being one such Kentuckian, Dr. Jonathan Rich is honored on this day 25
and granted best wishes as he continues to serve the profession of dentistry, his 26

NOW, THEREFORE, 1
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 2
Kentucky: 3
Section 1. The Senate hereby honors Dr. Jonathan W. Rich and grants him best 4
wishes in all his future endeavors. 5
Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in honor of Dr. 6
Jonathan W. Rich. 7
Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of this 8
Resolution to Dr. Jonathan W. Rich, Kentucky Dental Association, 1920 Nelson Miller 9
Parkway, Louisville, Kentucky 40223. 10
