AN ACT relating to unemployment insurance. 1
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: 2
ď˘Section 1. KRS 341.020 is amended to read as follows: 3
As used in this chapter, unless the context clearly requires otherwise: 4
(1) "Fund" means the unemployment insurance fund established by KRS 341.490, to 5
which all contributions, and from which all benefits shall be paid; 6
(2) "State" includes, in addition to the states of the United States of America, the 7
District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Dominion of Canada, and Virgin Islands; 8
(3) "Contributions" means the money payments, exclusive of interest and penalties, to 9
the unemployment insurance fund required by this chapter and by any previous 10
unemployment compensation law of this state; and 11
(4) "Benefits" means the money payments payable to a worker under this chapter and 12
under any previous unemployment compensation law of this state with respect to 13
his or her unemployment. 14
