AN ACT relating to elections. 1
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: 2
ď˘Section 1. KRS 118.185 is amended to read as follows: 3
If it appears, after the expiration of the time for filing nomination papers, that there is 4
only one (1) candidate who has filed the necessary papers for a place on the ballot of any 5
party on whose ballot he or she is entitled to have his or her name printed, the officer 6
with whom the papers are filed shall immediately issue and file in his or her office a 7
certificate of nomination, and send a copy to the candidate. 8
