AN ACT relating to restricting the use of tax dollars for promotional items. 1
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: 2
ď˘SECTION 1. A NEW SECTION OF KRS CHAPTER 48 IS CREATED TO 3
READ AS FOLLOWS: 4
A program, agency, department, division, cabinet, or branch of state government shall 5
not use appropriated funds from the general fund, any restricted fund, any federal 6
fund, or the road fund for the purchase of personal gifts, novelty items, souvenirs, 7
trinkets, or promotional items that market, advertise, or promote any administrative 8
body of the Commonwealth. 9
