A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Robert Ramsey, Sr., to the 1
Kentucky State University Board of Regents. 2
WHEREAS, on July 1, 2022, in accordance with KRS 164.321 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2022-363, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Robert Ramsey, Sr., to 4
the Kentucky State University Board of Regents for a term expiring June 30, 2028; and 5
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Robert Ramsey, Sr., has been determined to meet the requirements of 7
KRS 164.321; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Robert Ramsey, 12
Sr., to the Kentucky State University Board of Regents. 13
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its adoption to Robert Ramsey, Sr., of Georgetown, Scott County, 15
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 16
