A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Cyndi S. Heddleston to the Parole 1
Board. 2
WHEREAS, on January 10, 2023, in accordance with KRS 439.320 and by virtue 3
of Executive Order 2023-017, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Cyndi S. Heddleston to 4
the Parole Board to replace Michael A. Nickles and serve the remainder of the term 5
expiring August 3, 2026; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Cyndi S. Heddleston has been determined to meet the requirements of 8
KRS 439.320, with Mrs. Heddleston having the requisite experience in penology, 9
correction work, law enforcement, sociology, law, education, social work, medicine, or a 10
combination thereof, or having previously served at least five (5) years on the Parole 11
Board; 12
NOW, THEREFORE, 13
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 14
Kentucky: 15
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Cyndi S. Heddleston 16
to the Parole Board. 17
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 18
notification of its adoption to Cyndi S. Heddleston of Lexington, Fayette County, 19
Kentucky and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 20
40601. 21
