A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Ladeidra Nicole Jones to the 1
Kentucky Parole Board. 2
WHEREAS, on August 4, 2022, in accordance with KRS 439.320 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2022-484, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Ladeidra Nicole Jones 4
to the Parole Board for a term expiring July 15, 2026, and designated Ms. Jones as chair; 5
and 6
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Ladeidra Nicole Jones has been determined to meet the requirements 8
of KRS 439.320, with Ms. Jones having the requisite experience in penology, correction 9
work, law enforcement, sociology, law, education, social work, medicine, or a 10
combination thereof, or having served at least five years previously on the Parole Board; 11
NOW, THEREFORE, 12
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 13
Kentucky: 14
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Ladeidra Nicole 15
Jones to the Kentucky Parole Board. 16
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 17
notification of its adoption to Ladeidra Nicole Jones of Georgetown, Scott County, 18
Kentucky and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 19
