A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Samuel T. Wright III to the Board 1
of Claims. 2
WHEREAS, on January 18, 2023, in accordance with KRS 49.020 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2023-013, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Samuel T. Wright III to 4
the Board of Claims for a term expiring June 29, 2023; and 5
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Samuel T. Wright III has been determined to meet the requirements of 7
KRS 49.020; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Samuel T. Wright III 12
to the Board of Claims. 13
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its adoption to Samuel T. Wright III of Mayking, Letcher County, 15
Kentucky and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 16
