UNOFFICIAL COPY 23 RS BR 460 Page 1 of 1 XXXX 12/16/2022 12:53 PM Jacketed A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor and loving memory of Rose 1 Leadingham Malone. 2 WHEREAS, Rose Leadingham Malone was born in Bruin, Kentucky, on March 27, 3 1948, to Arnold and Alice Lewis Leadingham; and 4 WHEREAS, Rose Malone was a retired teacher from the Carter County School 5 System, and taught in Covington Public Schools; and 6 WHEREAS, Rose Malone was a devoted member of Bayless Memorial 7 Presbyterian Church in Grayson, Kentucky; and 8 WHEREAS, Rose Malone departed these earthly bounds on November 16, 2022, 9 and now joins her Lord and Savior in her Heavenly, eternal home; and 10 WHEREAS, Rose Malone is survived by her husband, Carter County 11 Judge/Executive Michael Malone; son, Lane Malone (Meaghan); daughter, Lindsay Oney 12 (Drew); stepdaughter, Stephanie Huddle (Chris); sisters, Lois Jernigan (Sam) and Jan 13 Lewis (Danny); brother, Lewis Leadingham (Wilma); and a host of other family 14 members, friends, and loved ones; and 15 WHEREAS, in addition to her parents, Rose Malone was preceded in death by her 16 sisters, Idell Lowe and Bernell Leadingham; stepson, Fred Thomas Malone; and 17 stepgrandson, Hunter Thomas Malone; 18 NOW, THEREFORE, 19 Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 20 Kentucky: 21 Section 1. The Senate hereby expresses its most profound sympathy upon the 22 passing of Rose Leadingham Malone. 23 Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in honor and loving 24 memory of Rose Leadingham Malone. 25 Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of this 26 Resolution to Senator Robin Webb for delivery to the family. 27
