A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Kenneth C. Smith III as 1
administrative law judge in the Department of Workers' Claims. 2
WHEREAS, on November 15, 2022, in accordance with KRS 342.230 and by 3
virtue of Executive Order 2022-792, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Kenneth C. 4
Smith III as administrative law judge in the Department of Workers' Claims to replace 5
Christina Ditty Hajjar for a term expiring December 31, 2023; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Kenneth C. Smith III has been determined to meet the requirements of 8
KRS 342.230; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Kenneth C. Smith III 13
as administrative law judge in the Department of Workers' Claims. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Kenneth C. Smith III of Greenup County, Kentucky and to 16
Governor Andy Beshear, Room 100, State Capitol, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 17
