A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Mary Pat Regan to the Public 1
Service Commission. 2
WHEREAS, on July 8, 2022, in accordance with KRS 278.050 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2022-380, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Mary Pat Regan as a 4
member of the Public Service Commission to replace Amy Cubbage for a term expiring 5
July 1, 2023; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Mary Pat Regan has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 8
278.060, being a resident of Kentucky, not less than 25 years of age, not holding any 9
official relationship to any utility, not engaging in any business or occupation inconsistent 10
with her duties as commissioner, and not being a member of any political party 11
committee; 12
NOW, THEREFORE, 13
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 14
Kentucky: 15
Section 1. The Senate confirms the appointment of Mary Pat Regan to the 16
Public Service Commission. 17
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 18
notification of its adoption to Mary Pat Regan of Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky 19
and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 20
