UNOFFICIAL COPY 23 RS BR 894 Page 1 of 1 XXXX 12/21/2022 3:59 PM Jacketed A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor and loving memory of Mrs. 1 Sydney Anne Logan. 2 WHEREAS, Mrs. Sydney Anne Logan was born on July 12, 1937, in Vicksburg, 3 Mississippi, to her late parents Wims "Bill" and Alva Bennett Adams; and 4 WHEREAS, Anne Logan earned degrees from both the University of Kentucky and 5 Murray State University; and 6 WHEREAS, Anne Logan was a Fulton County Board of Education school teacher 7 and taught first grade for many years at Cayce Elementary School; and 8 WHEREAS, Anne Logan was a member of the Fulton First United Methodist 9 Church and lived most of her life in the far western Kentucky area; and 10 WHEREAS, mourning Anne Logan's passing are her husband, Roy S. Logan; her 11 daughter, Lynn A. Kelley and husband, Ladd, of Greenwood, South Carolina; her son, 12 John Armstrong and wife, Lisa, of Clermont, Florida; five grandchildren, Lindsey 13 (Spencer) Warner, Lake (Kristen) Kelley, Zoe Armstrong, John Hill, and Allen Hill; and 14 four great-grandchildren, Alva, Laney, Katherine, and Nicholas Warner. Anne Logan is 15 also survived by Roy's children, Roy Logan, Jr., Geneva Storey, and Paula Logan; 16 NOW, THEREFORE, 17 Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 18 Kentucky: 19 Section 1. The Senate extends its deepest sympathy upon the passing of Mrs. 20 Sydney Anne Logan, and expresses heartfelt condolences to all her family, friends, and 21 community in this time of mourning. 22 Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in honor and loving 23 memory of Mrs. Sydney Anne Logan. 24 Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of this 25 Resolution to Senator Jason Howell for delivery to the family. 26
