FISCAL EXPLANATION : DLG indicated a need for two additional full-time equivalent
employees (FTEs) to handle the increased workload the bill would require. The department
anticipates these two FTEs to cost $118,100 each, for a total personnel cost of $236,200
annually. They also expect an increase of $63,800 annually for operational costs associated with
two additional FTEs as well as other equipment. This would result in a total cost of $300,000
annually.
