AN ACT relating to licensed occupations. 1
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: 2
ď˘SECTION 1. A NEW SECTION OF KRS CHAPTER 335B IS CREATED TO 3
READ AS FOLLOWS: 4
(1) Each licensing authority listed in subsection (3) of this section shall collect the 5
following data using a data collection application, during the annual, biennial, or 6
triennial licensure renewal process, to be made available for purchase in an 7
electronic format for employers and credentialing agencies: 8
(a) Licensee's personal information, including but not limited to: 9
1. Name; 10
2. Address; 11
3. License type; 12
4. License number; 13
5. License issue date; and 14
6. License expiration; and 15
(b) Workforce participation information, including but not limited to: 16
1. Degree level or certificates completed; 17
2. Employment type; 18
3. Employment specialty; 19
4. Employment setting; 20
5. Employment status, including but not limited to: 21
a. Actively employed in respective field; 22
b. Actively employed outside of respective field; 23
c. Unemployed but seeking work in respective field; or 24
d. Unemployed but not seeking work in respective field; and 25
6. Reason for unemployment. 26

(a) Social security numbers; 1
(b) Dates of birth; 2
(c) Telephone numbers; and 3
(d) Email addresses. 4
(3) The following licensing authorities are subject to the requirements of this section: 5
(a) Board of Physical Therapy established in KRS 327.030; 6
(b) Kentucky Applied Behavior Analysis Licensing Board established in KRS 7
319C.030; 8
(c) Kentucky Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselors established in KRS 9
309.081; 10
(d) Kentucky Board of Dentistry established in KRS 313.020; 11
(e) Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services established in KRS 12
311A.015; 13
(f) Kentucky Board of Examiners of Psychology established in KRS 319.020; 14
(g) Kentucky Board of Licensure for Occupational Therapy established in KRS 15
319A.020; 16
(h) Kentucky Board of Licensure for Professional Art Therapists established in 17
KRS 309.131; 18
(i) Kentucky Board for Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy established in 19
KRS 311B.030; 20
(j) Board of Nursing established in KRS 314.121; 21
(k) Kentucky Board of Optometric Examiners established in KRS 320.230; 22
(l) Kentucky Board of Pharmacy established in KRS 315.150; 23
(m) Kentucky Board of Social Work established in KRS 335.050; 24
(n) Board of Respiratory Care established in KRS 314A.200; and 25
(o) State Board of Medical Licensure established in KRS 311.530. 26

data collected in subsection (1) of this section available to the Office of the 1
Kentucky Center for Statistics established in KRS 151B.132. 2
