AN ACT relating to school district employees. 1
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: 2
ď˘SECTION 1. A NEW SECTION OF KRS CHAPTER 156 IS CREATED TO 3
READ AS FOLLOWS: 4
By November 1, 2024 and by November 1 each year thereafter, the Department of 5
Education shall publish on its website the current school year salary information for 6
each school district employee. The salary information shall be searchable by school 7
district, school, job classification, and employee name and shall include: 8
(1) For each certified employee: 9
(a) Base salary; 10
(b) Extended days salary; 11
(c) Extra duty; 12
(d) Total contracted days; and 13
(e) Job classification; and 14
(2) For each classified employee: 15
(a) Contracted annual salary; 16
(b) Hourly wage; 17
(c) Hours worked per day; 18
(d) Total number of days contracted per year; and 19
(e) Job classification. 20
