AN ACT relating to workforce development. 1
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: 2
ď˘Section 1. KRS 343.090 is amended to read as follows: 3
(1) It is the public policy of this state to foster, encourage, and develop interest and 4
training in manual and industrial arts, and to encourage the entrance into voluntary 5
agreements of apprenticeship and on-the-job training which will prepare[equip] 6
workers for profitable employment. 7
(2) Any contracts or practices which tend to hinder[stifle] the opportunity as set forth 8
in subsection (1) of this section are contrary to the public policy of this state. 9
