A RESOLUTION honoring Dr. Clifford Lowdenback for his service as the current 1
president of the Kentucky Dental Association. 2
WHEREAS, Dr. Clifford Lowdenback was born in Cynthiana, Kentucky and was 3
one of three siblings raised in Cynthiana, Mt. Olivet, Jackson, and Oneida, Kentucky; and 4
WHEREAS, Dr. Lowdenback graduated from Oneida Baptist High School as 5
valedictorian. He earned varsity letters in baseball, basketball, and golf and was a 6
Governor's Scholar; and 7
WHEREAS, Dr. Lowdenback obtained a bachelor of science degree in biology 8
from the University of Kentucky, a D.M.D. degree from the University of Kentucky 9
College of Dentistry, and a M.S.D. in Orthodontics from Case Western Reserve School 10
of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio; and 11
WHEREAS, Dr. Lowdenback is a partner in White, Greer & Maggard 12
Orthodontics, which has 18 offices in Central and Eastern Kentucky and is a corporate 13
sponsor of several public service groups; and 14
WHEREAS, Dr. Lowdenback enjoys golfing, reading, traveling, and attending 15
sporting events; and 16
WHEREAS, Dr. Lowdenback is past president of the Bluegrass Dental Society and 17
current president of the Kentucky Dental Association; 18
NOW, THEREFORE, 19
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the 20
Commonwealth of Kentucky: 21
Section 1. The members of the House of Representatives join Representative 22
George Brown in honoring Dr. Clifford Lowdenback for his accomplished career and 23
thanking him for his service as the current president of the Kentucky Dental Association. 24
Section 2. The Clerk of the House of Representatives shall transmit a copy of 25
this Resolution to Representative George Brown for presentation to Dr. Clifford 26
Lowdenback. 27
