AN ACT relating to motor vehicles. 1
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: 2
ď˘SECTION 1. A NEW SECTION OF KRS CHAPTER 77 IS CREATED TO 3
READ AS FOLLOWS: 4
(1) As used in this section, "electric vehicle" has the same meaning as in KRS 5
186.010. 6
(2) An agency, department, or political subdivision of the Commonwealth, including 7
the Transportation Cabinet, shall not adopt or enforce standards relating to 8
control of emissions from new motor vehicles, including requirements that 9
mandate the sale or purchase of electric vehicles. 10
