AN ACT relating to bachelor's degrees. 1
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: 2
ď˘SECTION 1. A NEW SECTION OF KRS CHAPTER 164 IS CREATED TO 3
READ AS FOLLOWS: 4
Any public postsecondary institution that offers a bachelor's degree shall include in the 5
graduation requirements for all the institution's bachelor's degrees the successful 6
completion of at least three (3) credit hours in the study of the government of the 7
United States of America. The Council on Postsecondary Education shall establish the 8
minimum standards for courses to satisfy this requirement. 9
