A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION adjourning the General Assembly in honor and 1
loving memory of Ronald Drake Adams. 2
WHEREAS, Ronald Drake Adams was born on June 12, 1989, in Dayton, Ohio, to 3
Linda Bethel Middleton and the late Bobby Ronald Adams; and 4
WHEREAS, Ronald Drake Adams later moved to Elkfork, Kentucky, and served as 5
an EMT in Elliott County and for KDMT; and 6
WHEREAS, Ronald Drake Adams was a devoted and hardworking EMT as well as 7
a dedicated husband, father, and member of the Apostolic faith; and 8
WHEREAS, Ronald Drake Adams went above and beyond to serve his community 9
and was a role model to many; and 10
WHEREAS, Ronald Drake Adams passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2024, 11
at his home; and 12
WHEREAS, in addition to being survived by his mother; stepfather, James 13
Middleton; and stepmother, Cheryl Adams, Ronald Drake Adams is also survived by his 14
loving wife, Ruby Louise Adams; sons, Christian Drake Adams, Joshua Alexander 15
Adams, and Samuel Whyatt Adams; daughter, Mackenzie Grace Adams, along with a 16
host of extended family, friends, and colleagues, each of whom will deeply mourn his 17
passing; 18
NOW, THEREFORE, 19
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 20
Kentucky, the House of Representatives concurring therein: 21
Section 1. The General Assembly hereby express its most profound sympathy 22
upon the passing of Ronald Drake Adams. 23
Section 2. When the General Assembly adjourns this day, it does so in honor 24
and loving memory of Ronald Drake Adams. 25
Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of this 26
Resolution to Senator Phillip Wheeler for delivery to the family. 27
