A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Ashley Flaugher Himes to the 1
Northern Kentucky University Board of Regents. 2
WHEREAS, on July 10, 2023, in accordance with KRS 164.321 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2023-372, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Ashley Flaugher Himes 4
to the Northern Kentucky University Board of Regents for a term expiring June 30, 2029; 5
and 6
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Ashley Flaugher Himes has been determined to meet the requirements 8
of KRS 164.321; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Ashley Flaugher 13
Himes to the Northern Kentucky University Board of Regents. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Ashley Flaugher Himes of California, Pendleton County, 16
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, State Capitol, Room 100, Frankfort, Kentucky 17
40601. 18
