Bott and Chris Schiefer Bott; and 3 WHEREAS, Joey Bott served his community of Campbellsville, Kentucky, as a 4 dedicated, respected attorney after graduating from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law 5 in 2006. He was a partner with Bertram, Cox and Miller in Campbellsville and served as 6 an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney; and 7 WHEREAS, Joey Bott was a devoted member of the Campbellsville Christian 8 Church and served on its board; and 9 WHEREAS, Joey Bott was a person who loved life and enjoyed spending time with 10 family, fishing, hunting, and being outdoors; and 11 WHEREAS, Joey Bott departed these earthly bounds for his heavenly eternal home 12 on September 4, 2023; and 13 WHEREAS, Joey Bott is survived by his parents; his wife, Jackie Bott; his son, 14 Jacob Bott; his daughter, Jenna Bott; his brother, Jon (Katie) Bott; his sister, Jenny 15 (Jarrod) Combs; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones; and 16 WHEREAS, Joey Bott's contributions to his community and family leave a 17 substantial legacy and a huge void; 18 NOW, THEREFORE, 19 Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 20 Kentucky: 21 Section 1. The Senate hereby express its most profound sympathy upon the 22 passing of Joey Bott. 23 Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in honor and loving 24 memory of Joey Bott. 25 Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of this 26 Resolution to Senator David Yates for delivery to the family. 27
