A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor and loving memory of Harry 1
Edward "Eddie" Isaacs. 2
WHEREAS, Harry Edward "Eddie" Isaacs was born on October 29, 1950, in Laurel 3
County, Kentucky, to the late John Isaacs and Wilberta Evans; and 4
WHEREAS, Eddie Isaacs was a retiree of the Laurel County Correctional Center 5
and worked as a community services officer for the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office; and 6
WHEREAS, Eddie Isaacs was a dedicated member of the East Pittsburg Baptist 7
Church where he volunteered as a church bus driver; and 8
WHEREAS, Eddie Isaacs never met a stranger and loved everyone. As a testament 9
to his character, he always had bubble gum to give to the children at his church and 10
elsewhere; and 11
WHEREAS, Eddie Isaacs loved to hunt, fish, and be with his family; and 12
WHEREAS, Eddie Isaacs departed this earthly world on March 21, 2024, and was 13
preceded in death by his brother, Anderson Wayne Isaacs; and 14
WHEREAS, Eddie Isaacs is survived by his devoted wife of over 50 years, Nelda 15
McFadden Isaacs; daughters, Rebecca (Tristan) Hacker and Julie Isaacs; granddaughter, 16
Callie Lewis; brother, Johnny (Sue) Isaacs; and a host of family and friends who will 17
mourn his passing; 18
NOW, THEREFORE, 19
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 20
Kentucky: 21
Section 1. The Senate does hereby express its most profound sympathy upon 22
the passing of Harry Edward "Eddie" Isaacs, and extends heartfelt condolences to his 23
family in this time of loss. 24
Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in honor and loving 25
memory of Harry Edward "Eddie" Isaacs. 26
Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of this 27 UNOFFICIAL COPY 24 RS BR 2503
